Your journey begins with a comfortable, air-conditioned van ride from Placencia into the heart of the Belizean jungle. After about 2.5 hours, you’ll arrive at the base, where your expert guides will gear you up and give a short introduction to the day ahead.

From there, a short transfer takes you to the cave entrance—where the real adventure begins. Paddle your kayak into a stunning underground river system, winding through massive caverns, echoing tunnels, and ancient rock formations sculpted by water over thousands of years. Your headlamp lights the way as you explore the beauty and mystery of Belize’s limestone underworld.

Halfway through, you’ll stop to enjoy a delicious Belizean lunch in a scenic spot inside or near the cave, then continue your journey deeper into the cave system. Each twist and turn reveals new wonders—narrow passages, underground waterfalls, and sparkling mineral formations.

Eventually, you'll emerge back into the daylight and the lush jungle landscape. After drying off and packing up, enjoy the comfortable return drive back to the coast with plenty of stories (and photos) to share.
