Belize Cave Tubing Adventure
Explore Belize’s underground caves on a guided adventure that pairs a rainforest hike with a river float through limestone passages. Round-trip transportation from your confirmed accommodation, a local guide, tubing equipment, drinking water and a Belizean-style lunch are included.
Your day begins with a drive to the tour location, followed by a guided walk of approximately 25–30 minutes through tropical rainforest. The trail may be uneven, rocky or slippery. At the river, your guide will help you get set up with an inner tube, helmet, headlamp and life vest.
Then float through the caves, where you can see limestone formations shaped over thousands of years. Along the way, your guide shares information about the natural history of the area and the cultural significance of caves to the ancient Maya. After the tubing experience, enjoy a Belizean-style lunch before the return drive to your accommodation.
This experience is suited to visitors who are comfortable walking on natural trails and being in the water. You do not need to wear only a swimsuit; choose quick-drying clothing and secure footwear that can get wet. Bring a towel and dry clothes for after the tour.
